A view of the signal tower at Beverley Hills from the station, looking towards Englewood and Chicago.
In addition to the road crossing ("grade crossing") in the foreground, the tower controls a flat crossing with a freight-only line of the Pennsylvania Railroad which crosses the Rock island tracks just beyond the tower. A short distance to the right, this line is crossed by the Baltimore & Ohio at Beverley Junction.
