Easterbrook 1872 Pattern
Easterbrook built a number of different pattern frames over the
period 1867 to 1886, and this example demonstrates the final design, one of
only two types to go into any sort of production.
However, only small numbers were built, examples being found on
the Great Northern North eastern, London Tilbury & Southend and Furness
Railway.
A distinct feature of these frames was the crude quadrant
arrangement, made of two plates bolted together each end.
