Committee lever frame
The Cheshire Lines Committee, despite being a joint company between the Great Central, Great Northern and Midland companies, pursued its own direction with signalling. It had its own unique design of lever frame - a simple, crude design which most probably was manufactured in-house but is sometimes attributed to Stevens & Sons.
