One of our members drew my attention to a corruption of the email notifications, leading to a truncated subject line in some notification emails.

This has been traced to a known bug in the software that only inter-reacts with certain types of server and only displays wrongly in certain email software (notably Outlook Express). I have now implemented a small configuration change and this issue should no longer occur.

It has been rectified permanently in the latest forum software upgrade - I'm still looking for a day with 25 hours in it to allow me the time to implement that upgrade.

During my testing there were spells when no notifications were sent out at all and I thank you for your patience and tolerance on that and the problem in general.
