The next box towards March from Chettisham was Black Bank. This late eighties view looks to be just prior to box closing. One of the last signalmen there was Doug Bullock who had served 50 years at the same location, originally a lad porter on Black Bank station and then becoming signalman and working the box for over 46 years.

The long diagram in the box covered several remote level crossings.
